Nneka Saran Mosley, Co-Founder

Nneka Saran is a DIY/Lifestyle blogger and co-founder of Handy Chics, a company offering DIY workshops for women.  She is also the founder of Go Get It Workshops, a traveling forum created to empower female entrepreneurs.

Nneka attended Hampton University and Virginia Commonwealth University, earning a Bachelor's of Science degree in Marketing.  Post graduation, like many, she joined Corporate America but her creative spirit kept tugging at her and while holding down a “9 to 5,” she started a handbag line, Nneka Saran Handbags.   After years of juggling both a corporate job and her handbag business, she stepped out on faith and left her job to pursue her business full-time.  During her 9 years in the handbag industry, Nneka was recognized in numerous magazines, online publications and on television for her work and business acumen.  In 2014, she gave birth to twin girls and chose to switch her focus to blogging and hosting DIY workshops.

Over the years, she has continued to sharpen her creative skills by completing programs at the Fashion Institute of Technology and the New York Institute of Art & Design.

A lifelong creative at heart, Nneka is passionate about bringing like-minded women together to educate, create, and exchange new ideas.
